Beginning

During the first session, we take time to explore your particular issues, clarify inital problem patterns, and identify some immediate stepping stones toward progress.  It is important that you feel we have a good working relationship where you can speak openly and comfortably.  

Middle

The middle of therapy is often where it is most apparent how difficult change can be. Years of repeating patterns do not simply fade away, even with insight.  We will focus our efforts and navigate these waters toward your goals.  At times we may add additional assessments or workbooks to focus our work.

 
Endings

There is very little in our society that models and guides 'healthy' endings. Instead, endings are either deemed unimportant or something to avoid. Yet, endings are just as important as beginings and middles. We will work on creating a theraputic, healthy, and respectful conclusion to your therapy.
