Solid Experience. Caring. Collaborative.

I am a registered clinical psychologist who has been practicing in the lower mainland for over 20 years. I am registered with the College of Psychologists of BC (#1482) and the BC Psychological Association.  My approach is to be warm, understanding, and positive while supporting your goals of change.

My main interest is to help individuals and couples understand and address their ongoing, problem patterns. Such people have relationship or mood issues where they are often left feeling frustrated, unsatisfied, hopeless, or unworthy. These feelings can progress further into depression, anxiety, and anger issues.

Interventions that are direct, respectful and empowering.

My approach is 2 pronged. Firstly, I believe many can benefit from understanding the current and historic roots of their problem patterns. We may explore attachment, family and social issues, as well as problem behaviours, thoughts, and ingrained beliefs. These beliefs impact how we interact with the world and can create repeated patterns.

Secondly, we devise an action plan through cognitive behavioural, interpersonal, emotion and solution focused, and other mindful interventions. These interventions are tailored to your unique issues.  With couples I integrate Gottman and Emotion Focused Therapy approaches to create sustained, deep change toward enhanced emotional connection.
